*REALISTIC* dream car. I'll hopefully own one someday.:

2010 (or late-model when I actually get it) green Viper ACR.
The world's biggest Viper dealer is up here about 45mins away from me. Woodhouse is THE place to go if you want to buy, or just gawk at, a ton of sweet Vipers. They're one of Dodge's biggest clients in the motorsports world, and expanded that to the street cars. Pretty sweet place. I bought my Talon from them years ago, and got to see The Viper Pit, as they call it. It is a sight to behold....

I'd give blood as often as possible (and did so a few times before I left the UK) but the rules in New Zealand catch me out. Having lived in the UK during the mad cow disease outbreak (aka nvCJD) in the 1980s means they won't take my blood for a long time yet (I've gone to the donation centres and asked them about it twice). Particularly unfortunate since I'm O negative. But if the blood tests get better and they can verify that the disease is nonexistent and not just dormant, then perhaps more of us here will be able to contribute.

I'll pick up the white if someone is willing to trade straigh across. My black, for their white. Just to switch it up since I've had this black since the first launch. I didn't want white in the first place but eh why not.

No offense like Schneiderman said, but that could give some people nightmares
Don't worry. Original model was over 18. First picture is total clone of her. Second is modified (morphed), so it is not her anymore but my own.

Similar to #12, but with a sky background. I know, it's choppy and bad quality but if it weren't it would be 170k

I don't think that barmann was making a case against a new technology that didn't fit the old ways like when mice were first introduced.
Sounded like it to me. May not have been the gist, but unwittingly, he was making that argument.
His point was that as much as iPad fanboys want it to be the coolist thing ever that will replace all those old-fashioned computers there are differences in machines between consumer ones and those used by professionals.
This is the exact argument made against the mouse and GUI. Exact. Mouse and GUI-based machines were scoffed at by geeks back in the 80s as "toys." That's the same rhetoric I'm hearing now about the iPad and touch-based devices. "It won't do for real work done by professionals." "It's fun but I can't get things done on it." That may be true for some lines of work at this stage, but it's going to change fast so declaring it useless or a plaything at this stage is shortsighted.
And BTW, nobody is saying the iPad will replace computers. Just like the mouse and GUI, this approach is going to continue evolving until ways are found for it to enhance computers and become an essential part of it. But it's insane for people to write off touch-based tablets as fanboy cheerleading

What's in it for me? Seriously, the owner of Macrumors makes $100K plus off this site (so much that he quit his job AS A DOCTOR.) Why should I give blood just to glorify the name of his website & make him richer?
What's in it for me?
I can't work out if humour was intended with this comment?
You can give blood and not tell anyone about it. Neither you nor MacRumors will get the glory, but you will have that small warm and fuzzy feeling inside. :)

Lets say his girlfriends parents say it's ok for them to sleep in the same room. Also, lets say that you also know that your son is having sex. Lets also say that your son has been going out with this girl for 3 months. So would you let him or not?

I too am forced to use Lotus Notes at work. Maybe it hasn't been "implemented properly" in my office, but it is a horrible, awful thing. Even common commands are hidden deep inside nondescript menus and any attempt at customizing anything ends with frustration. I would hope that this bloated piece of software crap stays far, far away from the Mac platform forever.

This is another reason why I will likely just transfer my number to Google Voice for $20 + cancellation fees without losing my number. Currently my cost would be about $100 total for the change on top of a contract price of $299 (for 32GB model), so $399 instead of $549.

Oh silly gays when will you learn. ;)but yeah if a white person called me a n word i'd be mad so the same applies here. I'd be pissed if someone called me a bundle of stocks. :D
Sorry, but black people using the n word is no better than any other ethnicity doing it. And spare me the BS that it's part of the black culture. Any thuggish behavior and language and its glorification is deplorable, no matter the context, who or what it is directed against, and what criminal/amoral/inhumane behavior is exhibited or glorified. Ice T is as much of an jackass using the n word as your local clansman.
